At Happily Forever, we offer a variety of wedding planning packages to cater to different preferences and needs. Whether you envision a beachside ceremony, an intimate celebration on a private island, or a unique underwater wedding experience, we have options to make your dream day a reality. Below are our most popular packages:
- Private Villa Beach Wedding: Enjoy a romantic ceremony at the beach of your private villa.
- Public Beach Package: This package is independent of your booked accommodation. The small hotel we work with is situated in the north of the island and offers you a beautiful candlelight dinner right on the beach.
- Island Wedding: Exchange vows on one of the stunning nearby islands.
- Beach Wedding at Your Hotel: Celebrate your love on the sandy shores of your hotel.
- Catamaran Wedding: Say “I do” while sailing on a beautiful catamaran.
- Church Wedding: Experience a roman catholic ceremony in a local church.
- Formalities Package: Perfect for couples who have booked the wedding in their hotel but need assistance with the legal formalities.
- Underwater Wedding: Dive into a unique experience with an underwater ceremony at a depth of eight meters.

How far in advance should I book your wedding planning services?
To ensure a seamless experience, we recommend the following timelines:
- Civil Weddings: Ideally, a minimum of 8 weeks before the wedding. This allows us to submit your documents to the civil status office on time.
- Symbolic Weddings / Renewal of Vows: A minimum of 1 week in advance is sufficient for planning these intimate ceremonies.
- Church Weddings: We recommend booking at least 4 months in advance, so there is enough time for you to gather the necessary documents with your local church and submit them to the church in Mauritius.
- Marriage Proposals: For proposals, please contact us at least 4 days in advance to help create a memorable moment.
Do you handle legal requirements for weddings in Mauritius?
Yes. For a wedding to be legally recognized, couples must provide certain documents, such as passports, birth certificates, and if applicable, divorce decrees. Our team will guide you through the required paperwork to ensure all legal requirements are met for your wedding day.

How do you handle unexpected weather changes for beach weddings?
We understand that some couples are worried about the weather as Mauritius is a tropical country. Whilst it is a likely possibility between January and March, after years of experience we can say that rain is not the end of the world for a wedding. We typically wait until 1 pm to give our recommendation on whether to proceed or postpone. This is one of the reasons why we will always try to schedule your wedding rather at the beginning of your stay in Mauritius so we have some flexibility.
